Working mainly in oils from my Studio in Dorset, my oil paintings cover a wide range of subjects including landscapes, animals, the human form and portraiture. The richness, variety and diversity in a world of constant flux provide me with a wealth of source material. |

| By employing fine brushtrokes, my aim is to achieve clarity of detail when representing colour, texture and atmosphere to preserve moments in time. |

| It may be a person begging on the street corner, or a door handle holding a thousand memories. From the realistic interpretation of simple scenes to more complex multi layered compositions, my choice of subject is continually changing. The question of what constitutes reality is never far away and often leads me to explore and translate through my painting what is not always immediately apparent in a day to day existence. |
